Fashion brand Burberry successfully created personalized brand engagement with their Burberry Kisses project. The idea was sparked by experiments in facial recognition technology that can detect the outline of a user’s lips through their webcam. Users could plant a kiss on their phone screen.

The kiss was then transformed into a digital kiss that users could personalize with a shade of lipstick of their choosing and that could be sent to a loved one with a personal message in a digital letter.
